Dr. Taunya St. Pierre
Physiatrist and Electromyographer
Taunya grew up and attended high school in Perth, Ontario. She then attended the University of Ottawa where she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Biology (biomechanics). Her medical school training was completed at the University of Ottawa, and her residency training in physiatry was completed in Edmonton at the University of Alberta. She has now returned home to practice as a community physiatrist and electromyographer.
In her spare time she likes to bike, ski, play volleyball, tennis and baseball, read and cook. She is very excited to be joining the team at the Sports Medicine Centre and looks forward to providing community health care!
