Welcome to The Sports Medicine Centre

Located inside the Bell Sensplex, just off of Terry Fox Drive in Kanata, we opened our doors in December of 2011. Owners, Gerry Townend, Director of Sports Medicine for the Ottawa Senators and Daniel Alfredsson now retired from the Ottawa Senators, opened this clinic to offer the same level of services to the public that is offered to NHL players.

Catering to all age groups, levels of activity and types of pain, injury or dysfunction, The Sports Medicine Centre offers Athletic Therapy, Physiotherapy, Strength and Conditioning Coaching, Registered Massage Therapy, Sports Medicine Physician, Physiatry, Psychotherapy, Mental Performance Consulting, and medical retail supplies including customized bracing. From preventative maintenance to rehabilitating an injury, we are able to provide it all in one multi-disciplinary location.
